At our November meeting Val Schick will talking to us about Farmers Markets.  We'll also be plan our Holiday Party.

November will also be our annual election for officers.  Please think about how you may be able to contribute to the association.  If you're working on your Master Beekeeper's certification an elected office will help meet your requirements.

There is a lot of other things to talk about as well such as the State Convention, Regional Meeting and of course we might talk about bees.

November Beekeeping
All appliances, supers, etc. should be cleaned and put in a dry place for next year Protect dark combs from wax moth damage.

December Beekeeping
Keep the entrances free of dead bees.  This is a good time to go to beekeeper meetings and read all the beekeeping magazines that have been stacking up all year.  Repair old equipment, assemble all the new frames and supers you will need next year.  If you need apiary permits for outyards, apply for them now.
