Classes and Certification: Apprentice Level

An apprentice level beekeeping class will be offered by The Northwest District Beekeeping Association (NWDBA) Spring of 2017 from 9AM-4:30PM on March 11th and March 18th (you need to attend both days). The class will be held at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 1305 Pine Ave, Snohomish WA. There will be a 1 hour break for lunch each day. We encourage students to bring their lunches and spend that hour eating and asking questions, but you can also go out and pick up food locally. Enrollment is $75 and includes a copy of the Apprentice Beekeeper Handbook, a years membership for the individual in NWDBA, and the apprentice level beekeeper certification test and certificate through The Washington State Beekeepers Association (WASBA).   If you are already a member of NWDBA for this year we will deduct $15 from the cost of the class.

Interested students must pre-register for the course by contacting the club president at president@nwdba.org. Please state that you are interested in taking the course and provide your name, email address, and phone number (if you are enrolling more than just yourself please indicate that).  Also indicate whether you are already a member of NWDBA. Enrollment is limited to 40 students. I will respond to emails to let you know if there was space for you in the class or not. At that time I will email you two forms to fill out.  The forms need to be filled out and returned to the included address along with payment in order to guarantee your spot in the class.
