December Meeting – Potluck

December 12, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Join us for a beginner’s buzz session at 6pm, followed by the main meeting at 7pm.

The main meeting is our holiday potluck.  We look forward to have a good turnout of people to enjoy good food together and talk about how their beekeeping year went and discuss ideas for the coming year.  This is the one time other than the summer picnic where we really have a lot of time to get to know other club members which is an important part of building a successful beekeeping community!  Please bring a dish to share with the group.  We will have a secret ballot vote for what the best dish was at the potluck with the prize being simple bragging rights.  Joe Canfield won last year with his amazing BBQ ribs.  The club will provide all of the necessary plates, silverware, cups, and napkins.  We will also be having a white elephant gift exchange – the idea is to bring a wrapped gift that is either funny or useful, but it shouldn’t be anything very expensive.  You don’t have to participate if you don’t want to, but all those who bring a gift will be able to take part in the exchange.
