About the event

6pm - Pesticides: Labels, Use, Bee Impact with Dr. Chelsea Abegg, WSU

Dr. Chelsea Abegg recently finished her Ph.D. in Entomology at Rutgers University, New Jersey. Her research focused on honey bee toxicity via pesticides and has a passion to find better solutions for pest management that will compliment honey bee, environmental, & human health. She primarily works with the Metarhizium Lab and her research now focuses on Metarhizium as a biopesticide option or Varroa management.

Our mission is to promote interest in honey bees and beekeeping throughout the northwest district of western Washington, and, in particular, Snohomish County. Our Meetings are open to the public, free of charge.
