6pm - IPM for Varroa & Spread Between Apiaries w/ Dr. Kelly Kulhanek
Dr. Kelly Kulhanek will speak about Varroa population growth trends observed in citizen science apiaries throughout the US, and surprising results from our existing mite treatment options. She will then share a study she conducted on the movement of mites between hives and apiaries across the landscape, demonstrating why beekeeping really is a community effort!
