About the event

 Dr. Jennifer Han & Dr. Nick Naeger from the WSU Honey Bee and Pollinator Research facility will be joining us to share their latest research.

Jennifer will be giving us an update on her research trying to select for strains of Metarhizium fungus to kill varroa mites & Nick will be updating us on his research in conjunction with Paul Stamets regarding mushroom extracts in order to treat viral diseases of bees.

Our monthly meetings are free of charge and open to the public

Our mission is to promote interest in honey bees and beekeeping throughout the northwest district of western Washington, and, in particular, Snohomish County. Our Meetings are open to the public, free of charge.
