Making Sugar Syrup in the Spring

Writer's picture: Erik RobertsonErik Robertson

With spring in full swing here in the Pacific Northwest its time to start making some 1-1 sugar syrup for your overwintered colonies. Here are a couple of videos on the methods I use to make syrup both are fairly simple and quick. Feel free to add your methods on making syrup as well and hopefully you can find sugar with the difficulty surrounding our region at this time.

Best to access this entry via website, not app. I really like videos, but then I forget steps. I can write and print out a checklist...
